I began to develop this recipe in January 2013 during
40 Days to Personal Revolution
at
Anjali Power Yoga
while observing a vegan diet and refined it in
January 2014 while observing a gluten-free diet.
After much experimentation it evolved into the easy recipe you see below.

old-fashioned oats
2 cups
brown sugar
3/4 cup
water
1/3 cup
100% peanut butter (chunky)
1 cup
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp (if unsalted peanut butter)
Preheat oven to 375 deg F.
Combine first 3 ingredients with spoon.
Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed.
