Cub Scout Pack 168
A Plainsboro, New Jersey Tradition Since 1937
Pack 168 Is All About Fun!
Pack 168 is in the Mercer Area District of the
Central New Jersey Council, BSA.
Our chartered organization is the Plainsboro Lions Club.
Pack 168 is an active Pack and we conduct many great activities in
addition to our monthly Pack meeting.
If you are a boy in first through fifth grade, come join in the fun!
Den 8 Tiger Cubs enjoy a nature hike on the Lenape Trail.
About Cub Scouting
Pack 168 contains 2 distinct but closely related programs:
- Tiger Cubs BSA -
A school-year program for first grade boys and their adult
partners that stresses simplicity, shared leadership, learning about the
community, and family understanding. Each boy/adult team meets for family
activities, then once or twice a month all the teams meet for Tiger Cub
group activities.
- Cub Scouting -
A family- and home-centered program for boys in the second through fifth grade.
Second grade boys earn the Wolf rank. Third grade boys earn the Bear rank.
Fourth and fifth grade boys are called Webelos (WE'll BE LOyal Scouts) and
participate in more advanced activities that prepare them to become Boy
Scouts. They earn the Webelos rank and the Arrow of Light award.
